Over the past days, CEHURD through the Joint Advocacy on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (JAS) Programme has engaged experts to interrogate implications of Uganda’s COVID-19 national response for health and human rights. These has produced a series of technical briefs looking at:

The unprecedented outbreak of the pandemic has put many healthcare systems to the test. In response, governments have put measures in place to control the spread of the virus. Uganda is no exception to taking measures to minimize the spread. However, these measures have raised issues around realization of the right to health, mental health, maternal health, gender dynamics and the need to safeguard the rights of front-line workers.
